LGA Singles Match Play
LGA INDIVIDUAL MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP Play begins Tuesday, May 26 | 32 player max Matches will be played as single elimination until the semifinals. Players who lose in the semifinals will compete in a consolation match to determine 3rd and 4th place. All players will compete in one unified bracket. Matches will be played using 100% of each player’s course handicap. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, the match will be decided by sudden death beginning on Hole #1. All matches must be scheduled through the Golf Shop, and players must use an official scorecard provided by the professional staff. The sign-up deadline is May 19. Match deadlines are strictly enforced—any match not completed by the posted deadline will be decided by a coin flip, with no exceptions. Player of the Year (POY) points will be awarded throughout the competition. ✅ All matches must be scheduled through the pro shop. ✅ The professional golf staff will provide official scorecards. ✅ POY (Player of the Year) points will be awarded. THE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT (FOUR MAN) Saturday, May 30| 8:30 am (Devlin SG) | Lunch Included The format of play will be an 18-hole four-person best ball net 90% handicap. Teams will be formed at random as ABCD pairings. (One A player, B player, C player, and D player handicaps.) Each player will tee off and play their own ball (Par 3s: Three best Net ~ Par 4s: Two best Net ~ Par 5s: One best Net). Position ⅔ Tee (Age + H.I.=65 ) Position 3 Tee (Age + H.I. = 80).
